Christmas

Christmas at my house is always the same. We will have dinner and the usual exchanging of presents. When we were much much much younger, my aunties will have games for us to play. We have musical chair, treasure hunts, pinning the tail on the donkey etc. As we are all much older, such games don't really amuse us anymore. We are left with, checking out pictures on the computer, surfing the internet etc.

This year we had Jenga and Taboo. The fun of this game is when u play with the aunties. The old folks never fails to crack us up with their weird antics. Like in Taboo, they will use hokkien and actions to describe the words.

Of course what is Christmas without the presents under the Christmas Tree right?
Did you spot anything funny? Yes....the Christmas tree is......... I don't even know what that is.
The little ones were entertaining everyone and keeping us very busy.

Ana is trying to sweep the floor.

Ana loves grapes. But of couse we try not to give her too much of it. That sneaky girl resorted to feeding her uncle one grape and eating one herself, and she did it again and again till I had to take the grapes away. This year dinner was more or less bought. They only cooked the curry, salad. The food is pretty good. Love the crabs.

The aftermath.....
And this year the aunties also got lazy and resorted to using paper plates and cups. To be environmentally friendly, we had to name our cups.
There are 2 birthday babies during the Xmas period. One is before and the other is after Xmas. (Note: the one blowing the candles is not the birthday girl)We have our annual guess the number of presents game. This year the number inflated by alot, I have no idea why. The number of presents is abt 170plus. My aunties love to wrap little presents just in case of I don't know what. I am still wondering how the number got so high, the average is about 120. Below is the counting of presents. My sister is the auditor.

This is the process of giving out the presents. It is always a messy event because my aunties will forget which present is for who. They refuse to put the names on the presents and choose to have some weird numbering system which never works. The history behind this is because last time my cousins and I will go unwrap our gifts before christmas arrives. But we are like in our 20s already!?!?!? Below you can see Ana trying to help, or rather just taking any present in sight and decid

Some random pictures.....
