Day 7: Port Stephens

We started off at about 7am today; first light was abt 6.30am. We manage to drive past the habour Bridge which was really and eye opener. Drove down to Gosford and had Macdonald breakfast. They have green apple pie over here which I was told that it was not good. We went off to visit Lakes and beaches along the way, the scenary was awesome. So beautiful and tranquil, really love it here.

Arrived at Port Stephens after a long drive and went for lunch at subway. We then went to check out the Dolphin and whale watching tour. Too bad did not get to see any whales, was really into seeing one. Apparently the season only start mid June. I did however get to see lots of dolphins. There were like 40 of them swimming and playing with our boat. I was so tempted to jump down and play with them. Really eye opening experience which burnt a hole in my pocket. Tried a Red Ned Kangaroo meat pie, I must say it was pretty tasty. Worth trying it again.

The drive back started with a stop off a a peak. The view was magnificant, looking down at the vast lands and lakes. Dinner was at Stratfield at a Chinese/Korean place. We had bean paste noodle and sweet and sour beef. Apparently the koreans always eat these and it has a strong influence from the Chinese food.

People must be wondering why I keep eating korean food and watching korean movies over here...cause my friend's girlfriend is korean. Which also means he knows what are the good food and his taste in shows are about the same as mine, so he introduced me to korean art films.

Ended of the day with 'Golden Girls'. anyone remember the 4 old ladies comedy? I never watched it before cause I thought old people don't really interest me. My gosh, please do catch it. The dialogue is so witty, it makes me wonder how the shows can degrade to such level we have now.

ps* I found the beer I wanted: 'Little Creatures' from Fremantle, Perth

Day 6: On my own

I had the day to myself, which meant I can do things my guide does not really like. I trod down to Circular Quay and and a nice breakfast of sandwich and coffee. Sat there and just watch the people and life in Sydney go pass. Checked out the Contemporary Arts Gallary and Rocks Museum. Walked around that area and went down to St. Mary's Church. The church looks great from the outside, and stepping inside just transported me to Europe. the architecture was impressive. Very nice place to visit. I walked Hyde's park and really enjoyed the park.

Went to walk around the shopping centres around the city and checked out the building architecture. Really interesting to see the old and new mixing up in the same area. Managed to eat some Krispy Kreme which was nice, but I found my taste for really sweet stuff has somehow dropped. Ate lunch at 'Wraps' which was not great. Walked down George St and Pitt St and found Crumpler. They have some designs not available in singapore but were not very nice. Saw some unique colours but the price was a little steep.

Took a walk around Oxford street (Gay street) and checked out the Adult shop scene. Nothing much, but apparently the area becomes more alive at night. I checked out Darlinghurst which had a different feel, my friend told me it gets really happening at night. It is sort of the Geylang of Sydney.

Got the rental car and had a hotdog at the famous Harry's de cafe, really nice snack. We then drove down to check out Leichardt (Little Italy). There is this forum like place which looks like Robertson Quay. When you are in Italy, do what the italians do; we ate pizza and pasta. The seafood pizza was fantastic, pasta was disappointing though.

Took a short drive to La Peruse. I thought it was a suburd, but apparently it was just a place to see the sea. By then it was already night, so did not get to see much. Hope can drop by one of the days.

Day 5

Started the day with breakfast at the nearby Malay store. It is the only one open early in the morning. Tried the mee rubus and my fren tried the nasi lemak, sad to say that both of it sucks. But I must admit the teh tarik was good. Watched 'Black Adder' while waiting for another friend to pick us up. The show was great, really witty.

Met up with Kok for lunch. We bought a viet chicken sandwich which tasted really really good. The bread was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. We ate at a park for lunch which was what people always do over here. I tried Solo and that drink kicks ass.

We went back to chill and play xbox 360 before heading to 'Sam's Thai' for dinner. Let me say that this place serve really delicious food. I had pepper chicken with tofu and egg. Apparently, the people who tired it and went back to singapore still misses the food there. I can really see why; cause the food is amazing.

I went to Fox Studios cause my friends were taking part in a xbox 360 Forza 2 competition. I tried but sucked at it; who cares when I got some freebies. The Quater finals till finals were held in the cinema. It was mindblowing to game on such a big screen.

One last thing, today was very cold....maybe finally winter is coming to Sydney

Day 4

Went off to Watsons Bay and checked out the gay nudist beach. Caught some people sunbathing but did not join them. The view was awesome at the Gap. Lunch was Fish and chips at Doyles. The seafood platter was hugh, I really hope that was not intended for one person. The weather was very chilly today with very strong winds. Even the seagulls were pushed back when they try to set off. And the damn sea gulls ate my chips. The grass is always greener on the other side. That is so true here, the grass here is softer and nicer to sit on. Any small patch of grass, there will be people sitting around.

Manage to take the ferry to Manly. I love that place, it has the same feel as Fremantle in Perth. Very laid back place to go. I chomped on Jester pie which was delicious. The Manly beach was huge, very long. Walked around the place and found a huge Quicksilver shop.

Dinner was at Pancakes on Rocks. Food was great but I was too full for pancake desserts after that. Somehow that defeats the purpose....damn! Will try to make a trip there some other day.

The day ended by chilling out over a bottle of cider.

Day 3: Back to the 70s - Hippie night

Woke up a little later and laze about, just enjoying the cool morning and catching up on stuff online. We decided to give our legs some rest and take it easy for the day. I got a little hungry and decided it was Dominos for lunch! You don't get such good pizzas anymore. Plus you can order it online.

Decided to take a longer walk ard Uni of NSW as my friend was having a short class. Sat on the grass and played a little rugby with some guys. Checked out the canteen which basically is like a hipper food court. They have an area on campus with arcade, pool tables, projector screen screening soccer matches and a chill off vibe to top it all off. Best part is they sell alcohol in the afternoon and you see everyone drinking at 3pm. That's what uni should be!

Tried the bubble tea of Sydney - Easy Way. It is a chain that can be found in many places. It was actually pretty good. Walked around the neighbourhood to check out the daily life in Kingsford.

The entire night was spent relaxing over music, movies, Indo mee, chips and etc. Heard and seen some groovy stuff which made me changed my perspective in all aspect of life. To sum it up, the feel was exactly like a hippie night.

Monday, May 21, 2007

Hello from Sydney

Plane ride over here was not so good. The breakfast was crap; though the wine/beer/Chocolate and sandwich made it bearable. I was surrounded by kids/babies. Lucky I had inflight entertainment. SIA had like 70 over shows to watch.

Weather in Sydney is not as cold as I expected. It is really comfortable to walk. Infact I probably walked 20km in 2 days here. The best part of it all - I don't perspire from the 3 hour walks over here as compared to taking a 5min walk in Singapore. Really have to thank Adam and Mike for showing me ard.

Day 1:
I walked from Coogee beach all the way to Bondi beach and then had a sinful fried mars bar.

Syd has Coke Zero, it taste better than coke light but has the same amount of calories as coke light. How awesome is that, Spore should really bring that in. Dinner was at BBQ City (Korean). Really good food and alcohol. The night was passed by more drinks with a great view of the Habour bridge and Opera house with fireworks. I had a little more alcohol than I shoud; anything after the fireworks was a blur. Glad I did not find myself sleeping naked beside a guy or something like that.

Day 2:
I swear off all vices - no more alcohol etc. Had a hearty breakfast of murtabark and teh tahrik. I walked Circular Quay and visited Habour Bridge and the Opera house. Tried Gelatissimo which was delicious. Went to The Rocks - love the whole vibe and the market there. Lunch was a really hearty vietnam beef noodles. Walked around the Paddy's market which is like pasar malam, did not really like it. Checked out Darling Habour after that. Its a really nice place to chill. Syd Aquarium was really good, quite big in my opinion. Went to check out the Wildlife enclosure too which not too bad. Ate 'turkish on king' for dinner at New Town. The food was great and their chips have chicken salt which makes it even better. Will love to walk ard New Town in the morning one day, really different feel to other place - very hippie feel.

Went back to catch 2 korean movies. I have never been a fan of korean shows. I just stereotype them as melodrama and slapstick comedy. But after the first show - 'Old Boy'; I was blown away. The show was very good, left me reeling in shock and speechless. It really changed my perspective of Korean movies. 2nd show was 'sex is zero', weird combination of slapstick comedy, sex and melodrama. Pretty good with some odd bits here and there.

A little Update

The sea and the sky

Kuantan Wreck and the off shore sites of Tioman rocks. Lovely dive, finally starting to be able to find the small and elusive critters. I want to see more! The wreck was awesome, really glad to see healthy marine and coral life around. I want to dive more more more!!!!!

Packing and gearing for my trip to Sydney! Have fun people

ps* I am very broke!

See ya

And so my Graduation trip starts. Rich people go dive at exotic locations like Sipadan, Similans etc. I don't have much cash, so I settle for Kuantan Wreck/Tioman.

I will be back late this week, then I will be resting in Singapore for a day before I head to Sydney for 2 weeks. Now now, stop saying I'm rich. I have to beg my friends to let me bunk in their place and somehow con my dad to let me use his flyermiles.

See you guys in June....

Post Exams

Finally I am done with the exams; hopefully my last one for my degree. Been planning what I want to do for a long long time. Here is a short list which is not exhaustive:
  1. Blade
  2. Movies (Ongoing. I want to catch Transformers)
  3. Drinks (Can't cross it out, still ongoing process)
  4. Dive (Soon...I will be off to dive Kuantan Wreck and Tioman from 15th to 17th May)
  5. Travel (Off to Sydney from 19th May to 1st June)
  6. Walk around (Ongoing)
  7. Sleep (Ongoing)
  8. Game (Ongoing)
  9. Catch EIC and Unexpected
Right now, I have one last lap...the FYP Presentation. After that, I am officially out of university. The past 4 years have literally zoomed past me.

I stepped into the arcade to have a look. Behold, the most interesting game I have seened since Legend of Zelda; Romanace of the 3 Kingdoms live strategy. The player users various cards with key character and fight a war using military strategy. Time to whip out the Art of War. This looks like somethin g SAF will want for their officers.

How good is the K800i

So good, it is even an underwater camera.

Caught this Blenny hiding in a tank at Marina square, whipped out my camera to take a picture of it. Can't wait to go diving

I want a digital camera...who wants to sponsor?

Hidden till they have wings

I spotted this two creature wrapped snuggly in leaves; waiting for the day they morph...

and fly away....

Invaded

This green bugger sneakily came into my room even though the door opening was really small. I used to catch grasshoppers with my barehands in Primary school and seconday school. Apparently time makes one person balls shrink. I had to use a tissue to catch this particular one and I squirmed when I felt it struggling.

This is not the first living creature that has decided to share my habitat. Moths, Bees, Hornets, Lizard (I think it stays behind my woofer) and other humans

That is some Pussy

I meant the lead singer of Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger. I always thought it was another manufactured band with some tunes and hot girls prancing around. Never knew she could really sing, only know her body is very taut.

For those too young to know, the composer (Yoshiki) is a brilliant fellow. He is the heart of the disbanded band, X-Japan (The soul is Hide) which created some great rock ballads like 'Crucify my Love', 'Endless Rain' and 'Forever Love'; just to name a few (Remember, Youtube is your best friend).

Anyway, I just thought this was a great song to share. Yoshiki has done it again, another ballad filled with so much emotions.

Demotivators

The above is SO ME!!!!!!

This site is damn funny. Plenty more of demotivators....

Sniff sniff

Phantom of the Opera was BRILLIANT. So good that I almost teared. The props, the stage, the costumes and the phantom mask were all beautifully done. And I was waiting for the chandellier to smash.

I almost did not manage to watch it this time round due to some circumstances which I shall not elaborate. But luck seems to be on my side when I heard my friend asking if I will like to take over her ticket as she was going overseas. Lucky I know the other person going to the show too. Great company, nice dinner and I got a ride back to hall in a SLK. Had so much fun playing with the GPS system (though weirdly enough, NTU cannot be found).

In the midst of the exams

I decided to take a break from the exams. Despite this semester being the most important (if I screw it up, it is one more sem), despite I have not started studying for the last 2 papers.

I got my uni friends to go to Wala Wala for some music. Dinner was at Spizza and as usual, the pizza was fantastic. The band playing was Shirlyn and The Unexpected. They rock as usual! Infact, the rendition of 'Enter the Sandman' was awesome.

Ahh...why can't all my exam timetable be like this.

More time to kill?

Have a look at this link

Some games to kill time. Try the dog game....pretty challenging.

VT Shootings

You had a hundred billion chances and ways to have avoided today. But you decided to spill my blood. You forced me into a corner and gave me only one option. The decision was yours. Now you have blood on your hands that will never wash off.

Your Mercedes wasn't enough, you brats. Your golden necklaces weren't enough, you snobs. Your trust funds wasn't enough. Your vodka and cognac wasn't enough. All your debaucheries weren't enough. Those weren't enough to fulfill your hedonistic needs. You had everything.
No one is going to pardon his act of shooting people down. But from the things he said, is it just me or no one can see that he suffered a lot? So much anger and hatred. I don't really think a loner can genereate so much hate on his own. Looks like racism and snotty brats were the cause. Don't blame the games, movies or games. Don't let the media blind your mind. Can someone maybe even see that the root of it is the way he was treated?

Maybe, just maybe it is time to change, time to see everyone on equal level.

Melts in your mouth, not in your hand

A really thoughtful friend sms me abut the elusive dark choc m&m (thanks for the heads up). If not for some stuff I had to do (more like meeting my friend for a round of Wii), I would have flown to NTUC.

*tears streaming* A kind heroine delivered the dark choc m&m to me directly. I must say I am disappointed. You only get a tinge of the bitterness at the end of the m&m. Its either tailored to the general public or the sugar coating is not doing justice to the dark chocolate. Who takes their time to savour m&m? You don't do such things....you just pop in and chew - like how cookie monster eats the cookies.

Anyway, a big thanks to the m&m heroine. It is truly appreciated. Maybe things are turning around. The past few days has been nothing but good for me (other than studies). Let's hope I can finally start studying.

Spartans! Prepare for glory!

Now, as then, a beast approaches, patient and confident, savoring the meal to come. They came with beasts from the blackness. With claws and fangs they grabbed us. Except for me...

We Spartans have descended from Hercules himself. Taught never to retreat, never to surrender. Taught that death in the battlefield is the greatest glory he could achieve in his life. Spartans: the finest soldiers the world has ever known.

A new age has come; an age of freedom. And all will know that we gave our last breath to defend it.
Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time.
Ready your breakfast and eat hearty, for tonight we dine in Hell!

Immortals. We put their name to the test.
This is where we hold them! This is where we fight! This is where they die!
Give them nothing! But take from them everything!

Madness? This is SPARTA!!!
This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
Have you not noticed? We've been sharing our culture with you all morning.

So my king died, and my brothers died, barely a year ago. Long I pondered my king's cryptic talk of victory. But time has proven him wise, for from free greek to free greek the word was spread that bold Leonidas and his 300, so far from home, laid down their lives, not just for Sparta, but for all Greece and the promise this country holds. Now, here on this ragged patch of earth called Plataea, Persian hordes face obliteration! Just there the barbarians gather, sheer terror gripping tight their hearts with icy fingers, knowing full well the horrors they suffered at the swords and spears of 300. Yet they stare now across the plain at 10,000 Spartans commanding 30,000 free Greeks! Ho! The enemy outnumber us a paltry three to one! Good odds for any Greek. This day we rescue a world from mysticism and tyranny, and usher in a future brighter than anything we could imagine. Give thanks, men, to Leonidas and the brave 300! To victory!

Harooh!

Last burst for my Exams.

On these shields, boys!

Booked

I have decided to fly to Sydney for my graduation trip. Never been there before even though I have gone to Australia a few times. I tried to find one more person to follow me so I can drive down to Melbourne, but it seems like a difficult task; more like I was too lazy to really look around. The ticket is booked, 19th May till 1st June. So if anyone is around there at that time, let me know.

I'm so broke I have to fly on dad's remainding flyermiles, but still have to fork out $300 for the taxes. I'm crashing at 2 friends' place, so I can save some cash. I'm willing to sleep in the toilet, face the cats, meet with the crazy housemate etc.

I have not made any concrete plans where exactly to go, just some vague idea of driving around the outskirts. Hope I can go skiing. Since it is winter, I guess diving is out of the question.

Anyway, I'm asking for donations for my meals over at Sydney. It's called 'Feed Ansley Funds'
*looks at shorty* - The rich one
*looks with pleading eyes at Can* - The promoted one
*looks at Ping* - The working one
*looks at Han* - Stop buying shoes
*looks at Pam* - Time to pay back your Shifu
*looks at {insert name}* - Please please please

I'm so pumped!

Boston

In the light of the sun, is there anyone? Oh it has begun...
Oh dear you look so lost, eyes are red and tears are shed,
This world you must've crossed... you said...

You don't know me, you don't even care, oh yeah,
You said
You don't know me, and you don't wear my chains... oh yeah,

Essential yet appealed, carry all your thoughts across
An open field,
When flowers gaze at you... they're not the only ones who cry
When they see you
You said...

You don't know me, you don't even care, oh yeah,
You said
You don't know me, and you don't wear my chains... oh yeah,

She said I think I'll go to Boston...
I think I'll start a new life,
I think I'll start it over, where no one knows my name,
I'll get out of California, I'm tired of the weather,
I think I'll get a lover and fly em out to Spain...
I think I'll go to Boston,
I think that I'm just tired
I think I need a new town, to leave this all behind...
I think I need a sunrise, I'm tired of the sunset,
I hear it's nice in the Summer, some snow would be nice... oh yeah,

Boston... where no one knows my name... yeah
Where no one knows my name...
Where no one knows my name...
Yeah Boston...
Where no one knows my name.

The night

That very day crushed my entrie defense in life.
I tried. I gave up when the truth hit me. Circumstances made me wonder if it was really worth it. I thought for a long time before I finally let it go.
Was it not more like nothing can be done.

I clouded myself for as long as I could with whatever I could get my hands on.
I psyched myself.
I replayed the very message every day.
I hardened my heart.

I am I once again.

The night and life have its way of creeping up onto you. Tonight I thought there was glimmer of hope. Or is the night playing tricks on the mind?

Is it too late? Even if not, will it work when my faith has wavered.

I don't want to hope anymore. What will be will be.
Anyway, a decision has been made which affects everything.

Weird

I just woke up from a nap. In my half awaken state as I still struggling to wake myself out, I realise I was tearing. Slowly, I rememebered the sad dream I had in which I recongnise no characters. I felt the tears dripping onto my arm and I opened my eyes to see a small patch on my bed.

I wonder why I was crying. Does it reflect my current state of mind? Or like wet dreams, the body is actually trying to get rid of access materials that it building up?

Weird.

Should I....should I not

Mayday is coming.

Jacky Cheung is coming.

Should I spend or should I not? I think the question to ask myself is, do you have the money for it?

Turn back the clock

Ever since I was 12, I could not stop wishing I would grow up! I wanted to be self-reliant and be the master of my own destiny.

Today, I wish I was back at 12. Without a thought about dollars and cents. Without any familiy commitments. Without any care about what is happening around the world.

I have not even truely started my journey of freedom and I am jaded from all the thoughts.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Anastacia.

2 years old, my ever cheeky girl.
It felt like only yesterday when you pee on my bed.
Growing so fast, my intelligent dear.
Was it not only yesterday you called me uncle?

Happy Birthday baby girl.

Frailty, thy name is woman

The heart has its reasons of which reason knows nothing.

Blaise Pascal (17th Century)

Freud is right, women do have a lower sense of morality. It is fallacious to regard them as rational, normal (by general understanding) human beings when they clearly are incapable of higher thought and reason. In them we find endless ground-shifting, the slanting of stances to advantageously suit the situation of the day. Acutely deficient, they do not subscribe to an independent, unchanging set of values or principles, rather their volitions accord with the waves and motions of an ineffable emotional state in constant flux, in which their actions are always validated in the affirmative. When faced with such a peculiar creature, one must resist any notion of cause and effect, because even though they are capable of performing simple logical deductions (often in the critique of others), one can observe the swift disposal of these same conclusions when they are applied reflexively, again through recourse to extenuating circumstances or, if all else fails, the unfathomable depths of their emotional abyss in which even reason is beguiled (unless of course, it is in their favour). Even their previous actions and judgments (often in the form of ethics, in which they hold exclusive exemption) do not form precedence for how one may anticipate or comprehend their discourses or conduct. If every man is an island because of the inability to express the parameters which define his existence, every woman is an island because there are no parameters, their beings and consciousnesses inaccessible even to themselves.

~Michael Ong~

------------------------------------------------
Something a friend wrote about women. Such strong words can often come out after you quarral with a woman with no logic of reasoning. Here was what happen.....

Here is a guy and girl, but they are only housemates. The guy puts the toilet seat up to pee. So considerate since I know many who will just carry on without care if the seat is down. He flushes and leave.

SHOCK! HORROR! The woman stared at the toilet seat. She fumed as the seat was not put down. It was against human nature and natural order that the toilet seat is left up. Even God cannot do such a thing. She thought she had no choice, she had to punish the evil man. She left her long stands of hair across his room floor and keyboard. Littered the whole house with her sanitary pads and feminine powder.

The man tried to reason with her as the actions were just too extreme. She would not listen. The toilet seat must be left down as that was the only way the world works. It was like the compass always points north.

Why oh why. Is there no logic and reasoning left in the world?

Faith

Recently a friend ask me about my religion and my current beliefs. It ended in a really long discussion. I can see his sad that I have abandon my faith.

I have been pretty wayward when it comes to my religion for some time. There are a lot of factors and reasons to it. I guess the main reason I started to decline from my faith is that I cannot reconcile the teachings and what my personal beliefs. I tried, and it is so difficult to step into church not thinking of how hypocritical I am. It is so tough not feeling the eyes of God staring down on me. I tried to find my way, but it just does not feel right. It does not feel good to feel guilty of actions, thoughts, beliefs that you believe in.

Confuse I am not. I know what I believe in. So do I still consider myself as a Catholic? I dont't want to just renouce what I have spent half my life with. I am a lost sheep trying to find my way.

Which one are you getting?

Recent research shows that there are 7 kinds of sex:

The 1st kind of sex is called: Smurf Sex.

This kind of sex happens when you first meet someone and you both
have sex until you are blue in the face.

The 2nd kind of sex is called: Kitchen Sex.

This is when you have been with your partner for a short time and
you are so horny you will have sex anywhere, even in the kitchen.

The 3rd kind of sex is called: Bedroom Sex.

This is when you have been with your partner for a long time. Your
sex has gotten routine and you usually have sex only in your bedroom.

The 4th kind of sex is called: Hallway Sex.

is is when you have been with your partner for too long. When you
pass each other in the hallway you both say "screw you."

The 5th kind of sex is called: Catholic Sex,

This means you get Nun in the morning, Nun in the afternoon and Nun
at night.

The 6th kind is called Courtroom Sex:

This is when you cannot stand your husband any more. He takes you to
court and screws you in front of everyone.

And last, but not least, the 7th kind of sex is called: Social

Which should I choose

Higher Pay, Uncertainties, Tough Interviews, Better long term prospect

or

Low pay, Certain, Good experience, Overseas, Probably will not advance fair in career

Something for Han

For the one with the shoe fetish....I think you will love Japan as much as you love HK.

Technical Interviews

Recently I went for 2 interviews. I always thought the first interview will be HR and not so technical interviews. Plus I have laid off from serious coding (Other than SQL) for about 2 years. It does not help that I have a short term memory, thus anything longer than 6 mths is already thrashed.

Let's just say I am disappointed with myself. Questions asked were mostly those that I would have known 2-3 years back, but right now I can't remember. I did not prepare for any of the interviews, thinking I can smoke my way around.

Bye bye Rockwell....Bye Bye Google Taipei!

I think I going to be a waiter

I was not intending to post this picture up since I know you people will form a wrong impression of my action. Just something to remember Japan...I was trying to the road traffic, somehow some gals decided to block my view.

Since I am at this photo, I really want to know how come the gals don't feel cold at all. Its winter over there!!!

Ho ho ho.......Does it sound like me?

Capricorn Employee Profile (December 22 - January 20)

A Capricorn employee with too much to do is a happy worker. They need plenty of projects and responsibility. There is no sadder sight than a Capricorn worker without a sense of responsibility. They need to be needed. They are covertly ambitious - usually not flashy or obvious about it-but you will usually know that they are serious and determined about advancing themselves. They are completely scrupulous, so much so that they can be self-disparaging. But they are no pushovers. They can wear down even the toughest customers. Their persistence is incredible. Once they set their sights on a goal, they work away at it until the bitter end-whether the goal be that hard sell or the new hardware release. Capricorns don’t work for free, however. They expect to be paid handsomely and be given more and more responsibility. They need to come out ahead of the pack in the end, and they see the work environment as their primary vehicle. They won’t go in for the typical office gossip and politics, though. They want to get down to business at work and see it as no place for fooling around. With a strong sense of duty and respect towards their superiors, it is rare they will join in on boss-bashing or knocking the system. They can get frustrated, however, with blue sky management schemes that lack common sense, and they will interject their dry sense of humor in the most critical ways. If they want change, they will be unyielding. If all their effort leads to naught the result will be deep moods of darkness and depression with a sense of hopelessness. Keep your Capricorn employee happy by paying them fairly and giving them plenty of hard work. Arrange for a path of advancement within your organization for them. If you don’t, you might find them looking for other opportunities.
